Overpayments to Be Corrected Using Auto-recoupment

An overpayment recoupment may be the result of any number of circumstances, such as issuance of a duplicate payment, correction of a coding error or erroneous calculation of the allowable amount. Refunds will be sought from providers who have received incorrect payments.
