Reminder: Multifactor Authentication Is Coming to the Employer Portal
Applies to all groups

Multifactor Authentication (MFA) will go into effect for Blue Access for EmployersSM (BAESM) users in the coming weeks.

Employers will see the following message in BlueVISIONSM over the new two weeks.

What it is: MFA is a second layer of security that will help ensure the safety and privacy of your employees’ membership data.

How it works: When you log in to BAE with your username and password, we’ll send you a one-time passcode by your choice of email or text message. Then, you’ll enter the code to complete your log in.

Make it easy: If you check the “remember this device” box, your authentication will be effective for 30 days. After 30 days, you’ll need to reauthenticate across all remembered devices.

Get ready: We’ll send the authentication code to the email on file for each user. You can avoid delays by updating your profile with your current email address. Add or update your mobile number if you’d rather get your authentication code by text.

Best practice: If more than one person in your office accesses your BAE account, make sure they are all using their own, unique email address and password.
