Vision Information Added to Blue Access for Members^SM

We’ve made vision information available via single sign-on (SSO) in Blue Access for Members. This information was previously only available on a separate vision website.

How it works: Within BAM^SM, members can click on the “Vision” tab to be logged directly into the vision experience for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. They can also continue to access their information directly on the vision portal. Members who only have vision coverage—and not medical or dental—will continue to use their current vision portal.

• The SSO feature is not available in the mobile app.
• These tools will be available to members in Individual & Family Markets by the year’s end.

Why it’s important: Making vision tools and benefit information available in one portal via SSO makes navigating benefits more intuitive and minimizes member’s frustration from logging in to multiple portals.

Access to BAM: Members can log on or register for BAM online at BCBSTX.com.
