Window Shopping Now Open for ACA Qualified Health Plans (QHPs)
Get a jump start. You can now view plan year 2022 ACA QHPs and pricing in the Retail Producer Portal. And then start developing quotes and proposals for your clients.
Quoting and enrollment instructions. See those sections in our detailed guide. If you currently don’t use the portal, the guide shows you how to register (see Pages 3-6). To open the portal and guide on a mobile device, text RPP to 33633.
Retail Shopping Cart. If your clients want to view plans and pricing using the Retail Shopping Cart, they can visit bcbstx.com. Note that consumers can't receive an official premium tax credit amount until open enrollment begins on Nov. 1.
Don’t forget. Consumers can now enroll, end-to-end, in our Marketplace plans via an online process CMS calls Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE). We launched EDE in September. If you’ve helped your clients enroll in a Marketplace plan on healthcare.gov, using EDE via the Retail Shopping Cart will be familiar to you. It asks similar questions and follows the same process as healthcare.gov enrollment. For details, see our EDE producer training.
